I WAS RETRENCHED, TOGETHER WITH MY 2 FRIENDS. YUPP.I was retrenched. not because of doing something wrong, its because THEY HAD TO CUT DOWN ON MANPOWER. thats what they told me when i went personally to ask the HUMAN RESOURCE EXCO. i was pretty shocked myself, together with my other 2 friends, Siti and Aisyah. Siti was happy about it, she always hated the job. i was beginning to love my job but too bad, they had to release me. Sharon from the human resource told me that the workplace is not doing well in terms of sales and they dont have enough money to pay for all the staffs.SAD, isnt it?? well, the ladies shoes department isnt doing so well too, they only had 80% of annual sale compared to last year where they had 91%. well, its wise to release all of the temperorary staff rather than the permenant staff here because most of the staff here are earning their living through this job. they have a family to support.for me and my other friends, we only do it for experience.we dont really have any one to support to..our parents are still working. weellll....its their loss then..they have lost 3 of the most sale-able staff they can find!! BUT ITS A GAIN FOR ME BECAUSE I HAVE CASHIERING AND SALES EXPERIENCE..HAHA. |
