I WAS RETRENCHED, TOGETHER WITH MY 2 FRIENDS.

YUPP.I was retrenched. not because of doing something wrong, its because THEY HAD TO CUT DOWN ON MANPOWER. thats what they told me when i went personally to ask the HUMAN RESOURCE EXCO.
i was pretty shocked myself, together with my other 2 friends, Siti and Aisyah. Siti was happy about it, she always hated the job. i was beginning to love my job but too bad, they had to release me. Sharon from the human resource told me that the workplace is not doing well in terms of sales and they dont have enough money to pay for all the staffs.SAD, isnt it?? well, the ladies shoes department isnt doing so well too, they only had 80% of annual sale compared to last year where they had 91%.

well, its wise to release all of the temperorary staff rather than the permenant staff here because most of the staff here are earning their living through this job. they have a family to support.for me and my other friends, we only do it for experience.we dont really have any one to support to..our parents are still working.

weellll....its their loss then..they have lost 3 of the most sale-able staff
they can find!!

BUT ITS A GAIN FOR ME BECAUSE I HAVE CASHIERING AND SALES EXPERIENCE..HAHA.

for the past two days i have seen so many people that i know in my workplace,
+ms wee: paying her creditcard bill.
+nuraini hussen and her sister:buying some clothes for themselves
+busu, mummyo,daddyo,farihin and oteh family: spying on me.( haha!)
I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I SEE ALL OF THEM.*laughs*

things in isetan are slowing down. not as hectic as before the christmas season.whew!
it was managable but i want to stay on the sales floor longer and not at the cashier counter all day.i hurt my hands and they hurt!! (papercuts are brutallll!!)

when i looked at the calender by the time i got home, i realized that the release of the results at in 15 days. most part of me know that i can make it through. i know that i have studied hard enough, but there is something deeepp inside thinking the otherwise.i shudder just to think of it.
just thinking about the otherwise has already made me feel as though the world is really crumbling around me slowly.*shudders*

i hope for the best for not only me but also for my friends.

last night, i went to join the rest of the BIG family to have supper by the old railway..i had egg thosai and it was superb...oteh family and busu family are there too.Atiqah cant join us because she had stomach flu... GET WELL SOON, GIRL!

the old railway station was a nostalgic place to be in.. i have been TRYING to imagine how that same station had been during the 1940s and 1950s.

stone angels stood gracefully and NAKEDLY, by the pillars..and it was beautiful!!

we met the rest at ten , and start ordering food. fakhruddin keep smiling at me and i became his girlfriend for that night!!haha...he is very cute boy of seven..but the freaky part is when he went alittle overboard by chasing me around and putting his hand over my arm..hahaha...that boy. he is such fun.

then we went mustaffa and at that time i dont mind without knowing the fact that i have to get up at seven thirty in the morning for work..we went around and i even try to trick ayah in buying me a PSP. haha...i have not even had my pay yet!!! lol..this is definately TEMPTATION.

WE finally made our way home at 115 am. im not even sleepy. we then listened to the cerita seram on ria radio on our way home.haha...ayah so penakut, he ask farihin to accompany him to park the car.

oh. i got announcement..

" O LEVEL RESULTS WILL BE RELEASED ON 13 JANUARY 2009."

after 6 days of crazy madness..i finally get an off day to rest and heal my wounds..(i scraped my knee and the nerves in my legs are going haywire..it hurts just to walk..) now im at home just sitting and reading books and just resting. just finished cleaning the house alittle and maybe going to help with the groceries later at night.

yesterday i managed to calculate on what im going to do with my pay. setting aside to give it to my family and keeping some to use for next year..
BUT LIKE ALL TEENAGE GIRLS IT IS A MUST FOR ME TO USE IT FOR SHOPPPING!!
get some quality clothes and maybe change my style a little..a hat from kappa and a black scraf to go with it..

now, im all alone at home while the whole family is out on a holiday. im spending the night alone for the first time haha...its chilly tonight..the stone floor im sitting on is so cold, i need a mat for my pooor butt.
During work, i met a new friend who is the promoter for ITTI& OTTO SHOES.he is kind cool, and quite playful.LOL. HE SAID MY HAIR LOOKS CHOCOLATELY BLACK. *HUMM??*
LOL.

after work, i went back home with aisyah by taking 31.the night is chilly and the church choirs are preparing themselves for a mini-carolling at CENTRAL. whoa, really setting the christmas atmosphere..whats missing is the snow.

I NEED TO LEARN BASIC CHINESE.

Today's work was ok for me..however i got pissed off by people trying to talk to me in CHINESE.
about...6 people, including promoters and customers. the lamest excuse they can give me is that,"oh! i tought you are a chinese!,".*dumbstrucked face*.this is not the first time. it happened right on my first day of work...ARGH! in the afternoon, two guys,who i presumed are china men, were conversing to me in chinese. i dont know how to answer back and when i looked around to help,none of us staff speak CHINESE! then the chinese customer start to get louder with his hands flying around, trying to make out something, but i cant seemed to figure out. it happened that there was a chineselady customer next to them so she decided to help. THANK YOU..WHEW.

On my way home,i saw the add about FALL OUT BOY CONCERT HAPPENING NEXT YEAR,
10 FEB 2009. BUT I CANT GO BECAUSE I WAS WORKING LATE SHIFT THAT DAY.

damn. time flew fast when you are enjoying yourself and relaxing at home..
i just got a new haircut and yesterday i went on a shopping spree because regina already put my paycheck( its only $60) in my account. so i bought a make up set at watsons for only $6.95,( usual price $ 8.95), 2 trendy colourful earrings and some clothes at COTTON ON.
THE COTTON ON OUTLET IN TAMPINES MALL IS HAVING 50% DISC.
so i was really happy of what i bought...
on my way to tamp mall, some thing silly happened..me, the two small monsters and mummyo happen to cross the road using the traffic light. at the middle of the road, ain stepped onto my slippers and it got off...and it took me 3 steps to see that my right slipper is gone..i panic snd got back to retrieve my poor slipper...the worst thing is that there are a group of YOUNG MATS, behind and they saw what happened and they laugh...MOTHER want to shut them off but she too was laughing hard....*sigh* so i was pretty pissed off with ain.

DAMN. THESE MATS ARE ALWAYS THERE WHEN WE DONT NEED THEM..
SINCE WHEN DO WE NEED THEM??

PROMOTER: SORRY..BUT YOU KEYED IN WRONGLY..ITS SUPPOSED TO BE 2 ITEMS NOT 3....
ME: REALLY...GOSH IM SO SORRY. I WILL DO IT LATER..LEAVE THE SLIP HERE DONT WORRY. I WILL TRY TO FIND YOUR ITEM...(which is about..1 in a 1000 receipts.)

and this is my convo with my supervisor...

ME: YES?
SUPERVISOR: WHO IS GOING TO DO STOCK CHECKING FOR THE COSMETICS??

so yeah...thats what i do. but other that that deary stuff... i gt to eat darn good chocolates and have fun with my colleagues. so...there is always a silver lining beneath a dark cloud.

ah..finally i have time to sit down. in an hour, i have to go to work AGAIN. today i will be doing cashiering. hmm. yesterday i had to do replenshing of items like paperbags, plastic bags, tapes, wrapping papers, etc...ALL BY MYSELF. after collecting the stuff...i swear it was the heaviest. i got a trolley with me but it was damn small. things keep toppling over. then i ran like a mad woman to get aisyah to help me carry, meanwhile asking the security guard to take care of the stuff for me..thanks alot man.while working , me, aiyah and auntie bon bon caught sight of the americaya promoter. he is a malay guy with weird hairdo that gives you the idea of A MAD PROF WHO JUST CREATED FRANKENSTEIN. he had his hair gelled in a wrong way and a wierd and scary stare. there was even a time when i screamed a little when he opened the store room door from the inside when i want to take stock of shoes. just recieved feeza's invitation on going cycling this friday, but i think i want to pass this. i want to stay at home more and maybe get a haircut. haha..
a few days ago i bumped into James and we talked all the way to payar lebar station. i got to know that next year the councillors will have MDM ROS as the teacher in charge and there will be ten departments instead of our usual five. WELL, GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL JUNIORS AND MAY YOU HAVE DIRE MERCY. hahaha....

yesterday i went to the movie marathon. ppl who are there, NURUL,JANNAH,SOF,BIRIN,SHARIFAH,QEU AND ATIQAH.

we watched VALENTINE, a thriller of extreme nerd revenge. then we moved to an epic movie but figured out that it was full of shit.we then moved on to QUIET..which stars CAMILLA BELLE.( joe jonas girlfriend.) but the story line was also crap and not understand-able, so we switch it off.. we then watched ellen degeneres show. meanwhile we discussed about our gathering but it seemed to be going no where. we then split at 6 pm.

today's work was good but tiring. i was lucky because the shortages was slved and i did not owe the company money.*whew!*tomorrow start late shift again. hmph. good can wake up late. hahah...

not all work days are always good.today is the most suckiest of all. i was cashier again,(it was not my choice)and i did all of the major mistakes today in 5 voids. i didnt scan 2 items which added up to $150 , too busy to be courteous, and worst of all, i was shortage of $ 35 at the end of the day.*sighs* i was waiting for this day to end and finally it did. UNCLE RIZAL,OTEH AND BATTYGUIN come visit me at workplace to have dinner at swensons. i had fish baked rice! yum! then wash it down with plain cold water and sticky chewy choco in 2 scoops. thanks guys! you are all such great company. oh yeah, thanks for the advice for my cashiering duties. I WILL REMEMBER NOT TO PANIC AND STAY CLEAR MINDED! after that we went to GRAMAPHONE AND BORDERS to shop. i want to buy a cd but i keep telling myself not to waste. in the end i just bought a galaxie magazine which cost 2 dollars. *im a cheapskate*
but i also manage to buy myself black slippers with shimmers and it look very nice! cost only 15 dollars.*damn cheapskate* 2moro im going for a movie marathon with my girlfriends whom i have not seen for over a month. i miss them so much! so soon i will post pics on the marathon 2moro so do look out.

today...was a VERY bittersweet day for me. ACTUALLY, more to bitter rather than sweet, haha..
today begins beautifully...i manage to come into workplace on time LOL. i actually went out later than usual because i was lazy to get off the bed as i was still tired from last night.on my way to work, i saw two people giving up their sits to old ladies, which i did not.hehe...it is great to see that someone cares, in this day and age.
in my previous posts, i have complained about how cashier ladies are the worst when it comes in working, but today i got a taste of it. YES PEOPLE. im THE CASHIER OF THE DAY.it s just like playing a game, you just have to know the tricks.At the end of the day, i have one 7 voids, which means 7 mistakes.LOL. thats actually too much for a cashier.BUT ITS MY FIRST DAY! so please understand, ok?
during work, i have trying to contact mother but the phone wont go through..i WANT to tell her about my experience doing cashiering, but FAILED. so i end up eating in silence today. when i got home, ibu scolded me for wearing my camera tee shirt. she beat me on the back really hard for three times, but i shook her off. then when i threw my tee into the washing machine, she grab it and threw it to the dustbin and bury it deeper into the wet thrash. she knew i could not get it anymore.i was so mad at her that i actually threw my tantrum at her. YES, the teenage devil in each ofall the teenagers in the world have been released.
LET ME TELL YOU. if this happens, we will not be ourselves and will not stop till we get our demanded rights. in other words this is also called *EGO* in adult terms.
now..i was told that i cant go to work tomorrow or i will not be welcomed into the house.
THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING.
oh well..im dying to know what will happen next.

to all my friends, selamat hari raya haji!

i had a good one today. it started with the usual stuff. early in the morning got up, clean the house and help with the cooking. then put on my facial mask which constantly slide down my face.(hmph) we then as a family sat down for a huge breakfast together....

after that we head off to rumah ayah to meet my paternal cousins. its ok..we had fun..i bugged ayah to get me a nitendo DS. then he go blab on about me thinking that he "CHOP" duit.

*AYAH I WANT A NITENDO DS PLEASE.*

we ate the usual stuff..roti kirai, curry,pulut..etc. i dont care. i just eat. then i noticed that no one give angpow..LOL. i was expecting some money...hahaha...i need some money for shopping this friday!! at rumah nenek ibu, we also ate and i have to say, cik nah 's sambal goreng was GOOD GOOD. i love it..then i spent 2.5 hrs helping battyguin do her blog then i spent the other 4 hours watching movies...haha...

2moro got work again and im doing cashier duties...( oh god please help me)

its sunday night and tomorrow i got off day from the boss.HARI RAYA HAJI!!

yeah..will be meeting all my uncles,aunties and cousins. today, i got morning shift. so must do morning greeting. *left hand over the other,bow and greet loudly*so boring.. BUT there is one thing that perks me up. THE SCHOLL PROMOTER!! heheh. he is cute. we get to talk to each other and exchange a few glances.( haha...) too bad that was his last job there, because he got a job as a waiter at raffles city. (oh well...move on dear!)

today i also got news from maznah that i will be doing cashier duties...(GASP)i got no confident yet...

after work i went to visit my family to have dinner at banquet...sigh....so long never sit and had dinner with them..haha...

then we went to loyang point to get some DVDS. i then set my eyes on the gossip girl DVD.

IT COST 30 DOLLARS FOR THE RENTAL ONLY.hmph.

then we head home to get some rest. but not me. im going to be online till 12 am ..haha!

Finally,OFF DAY!!

yes, peeps today is my off day and i want to stay at home. just came back from WHITE SANDS to make my atm card and visit the library. HOWEVER, my leg so ITCHY GO INSIDE CHALLENGER AND THE COMICS SHOP. my DEVIL on my left shoulder was bugging me to buy the SIMS 2 CD. so i defeated myself and bought it.ppft.now, im on the computer and the stupid thing cant start. AARGH!!!! *REGRET*..
working so far was great. i made great new friends and i love going to work.haha..but the only thing i fear are the cashier machines...haha....
