I NEED TO LEARN BASIC CHINESE. Today's work was ok for me..however i got pissed off by people trying to talk to me in CHINESE. about...6 people, including promoters and customers. the lamest excuse they can give me is that,"oh! i tought you are a chinese!,".*dumbstrucked face*.this is not the first time. it happened right on my first day of work...ARGH! in the afternoon, two guys,who i presumed are china men, were conversing to me in chinese. i dont know how to answer back and when i looked around to help,none of us staff speak CHINESE! then the chinese customer start to get louder with his hands flying around, trying to make out something, but i cant seemed to figure out. it happened that there was a chineselady customer next to them so she decided to help. THANK YOU..WHEW. On my way home,i saw the add about FALL OUT BOY CONCERT HAPPENING NEXT YEAR, 10 FEB 2009. BUT I CANT GO BECAUSE I WAS WORKING LATE SHIFT THAT DAY. BUMMER. I NEED THAT TO COLLECT MY ITEM...*smile* ME: YOU CAN JUST SHOW THE RECEIPT SIR..AGAIN, HAVE A NICE DAY. CUSTOMER: YEAH, THANKS YOU TOO. thats what i said for about...1000 times from 7 pm till 9pm... and this is my typical convo with the irratating promoters... PROMOTER: WHERE IS MY SLIP? ME: ITS IN THE BOX.FIND YOURSELF IM VERY BUSY. (dont even bother to look up.) PROMOTER: SORRY..BUT YOU KEYED IN WRONGLY..ITS SUPPOSED TO BE 2 ITEMS NOT 3.... ME: REALLY...GOSH IM SO SORRY. I WILL DO IT LATER..LEAVE THE SLIP HERE DONT WORRY. I WILL TRY TO FIND YOUR ITEM...(which is about..1 in a 1000 receipts.) and this is my convo with my supervisor... SUPERVISOR: IZZATHI!! ME: YES? SUPERVISOR: WHO IS GOING TO DO STOCK CHECKING FOR THE COSMETICS?? ME: NORMALLY ME..BUT YOU SEE..IM BUSY WITH CASHIERING.. SUPERVISOR:NO NO..U GO DO STOCK CHECKING..I GET SOMEONE ELSE TO DO... ME:*SAY IN HEART* OH GOD....WHY MEEEEE???? SUPERVISOR: AFTER THAT..GO DO.....BLAH BLAH.... ME: *SIGH SILENTLY...* OK. so yeah...thats what i do. but other that that deary stuff... i gt to eat darn good chocolates and have fun with my colleagues. so...there is always a silver lining beneath a dark cloud. Labels: work Wednesday, December 17, 2008 ah..finally i have time to sit down. in an hour, i have to go to work AGAIN. today i will be doing cashiering. hmm. yesterday i had to do replenshing of items like paperbags, plastic bags, tapes, wrapping papers, etc...ALL BY MYSELF. after collecting the stuff...i swear it was the heaviest. i got a trolley with me but it was damn small. things keep toppling over. then i ran like a mad woman to get aisyah to help me carry, meanwhile asking the security guard to take care of the stuff for me..thanks alot man.while working , me, aiyah and auntie bon bon caught sight of the americaya promoter. he is a malay guy with weird hairdo that gives you the idea of A MAD PROF WHO JUST CREATED FRANKENSTEIN. he had his hair gelled in a wrong way and a wierd and scary stare. there was even a time when i screamed a little when he opened the store room door from the inside when i want to take stock of shoes. just recieved feeza's invitation on going cycling this friday, but i think i want to pass this. i want to stay at home more and maybe get a haircut. haha.. a few days ago i bumped into James and we talked all the way to payar lebar station. i got to know that next year the councillors will have MDM ROS as the teacher in charge and there will be ten departments instead of our usual five. WELL, GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL JUNIORS AND MAY YOU HAVE DIRE MERCY. hahaha.... Labels: work Thursday, December 11, 2008 not all work days are always good.today is the most suckiest of all. i was cashier again,(it was not my choice)and i did all of the major mistakes today in 5 voids. i didnt scan 2 items which added up to $150 , too busy to be courteous, and worst of all, i was shortage of $ 35 at the end of the day.*sighs* i was waiting for this day to end and finally it did. UNCLE RIZAL,OTEH AND BATTYGUIN come visit me at workplace to have dinner at swensons. i had fish baked rice! yum! then wash it down with plain cold water and sticky chewy choco in 2 scoops. thanks guys! you are all such great company. oh yeah, thanks for the advice for my cashiering duties. I WILL REMEMBER NOT TO PANIC AND STAY CLEAR MINDED! after that we went to GRAMAPHONE AND BORDERS to shop. i want to buy a cd but i keep telling myself not to waste. in the end i just bought a galaxie magazine which cost 2 dollars. *im a cheapskate* but i also manage to buy myself black slippers with shimmers and it look very nice! cost only 15 dollars.*damn cheapskate* 2moro im going for a movie marathon with my girlfriends whom i have not seen for over a month. i miss them so much! so soon i will post pics on the marathon 2moro so do look out. cheers. ACTUALLY, more to bitter rather than sweet, haha.. today begins beautifully...i manage to come into workplace on time LOL. i actually went out later than usual because i was lazy to get off the bed as i was still tired from last night.on my way to work, i saw two people giving up their sits to old ladies, which i did not.hehe...it is great to see that someone cares, in this day and age. in my previous posts, i have complained about how cashier ladies are the worst when it comes in working, but today i got a taste of it. YES PEOPLE. im THE CASHIER OF THE DAY.it s just like playing a game, you just have to know the tricks.At the end of the day, i have one 7 voids, which means 7 mistakes.LOL. thats actually too much for a cashier.BUT ITS MY FIRST DAY! so please understand, ok? during work, i have trying to contact mother but the phone wont go through..i WANT to tell her about my experience doing cashiering, but FAILED. so i end up eating in silence today. when i got home, ibu scolded me for wearing my camera tee shirt. she beat me on the back really hard for three times, but i shook her off. then when i threw my tee into the washing machine, she grab it and threw it to the dustbin and bury it deeper into the wet thrash. she knew i could not get it anymore.i was so mad at her that i actually threw my tantrum at her. YES, the teenage devil in each ofall the teenagers in the world have been released. LET ME TELL YOU. if this happens, we will not be ourselves and will not stop till we get our demanded rights. in other words this is also called *EGO* in adult terms. now..i was told that i cant go to work tomorrow or i will not be welcomed into the house. THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING. oh well..im dying to know what will happen next. to my mom, i will try very hard to be your sweet girl again. Labels: work |
